Hi there!
Before diving into article writing for the sake of sharing what I’ve learned in the fields of UI and UX, I wanted to first introduce myself.
My name is Tawni, and I’ve been working as a UI/UX Designer at a marketing company for just over three years. I’ve predominantly worked with the software development team to help design the experiences for the internal software, but I’ve also hopped on some client projects that require a more complicated design.
In my spare time, I love to bake, read, cook, play video games, crochet, draw, garden — the list goes on. Getting the opportunity at home or for work to make something that not only am I proud of, but that can bring others joy or make their lives easier is what keeps me moving forward.
I’m hoping that the articles I write and share help give some perspective on UI and UX, or even offer you something new that you may not have seen framed the way I’m framing it. I know it’s difficult because there’s been a huge surge of UI and UX articles respectively, but for every person that posts an article, new perspectives and new conversations are all created.
Feel free to ask questions or just comment! I respect that my opinions may have flaws and that there will always be something new to learn, and that we can only improve if we’re willing to listen and learn from those who have their own unique experiences.
